We’re delighted that FWA client Sarah Llewellyn is composing the music for NEW HOMEMAKERS, one of the installations at this year’s LIGHT NIGHT LEEDSProduced by Joyce Nga Yu Lee for the University of Leeds, NEW HOMEMAKERS invites audiences to discover a village of glowing, fairy-sized homes — each one filled with stories and songs of migration and making a new home in Leeds, taking place outside the Clothworkers Concert Hall 6-10pm.    Sarah’s evocative score brings warmth and depth to this imaginative piece, part of the UK’s largest annual arts and light festival, taking place 22–23 October 2025 –  click here to discover more

For the past 20 years, Light Night Leeds has transformed the city’s streets and landmarks with spectacular light installations, immersive performances, and breathtaking soundscapes – and this year, Sarah’s original composition will play a part in bringing the event to life.A classically trained and highly versatile composer, Sarah’s work spans theatre, film, radio, circus and large-scale outdoor productions. Her recent projects include composing for THE GHOST TRAIN, a major outdoor theatrical reimagining marking 200 years of passenger railways, and creating original scores for productions at Shakespeare North Playhouse, Guildhall School, and BBC Radio 3.  We can’t wait to hear Sarah’s work illuminating the city during this unmissable celebration of art and light.
