FWA client directs this week’s gripping episodes (1-3 September 2025) as the show approaches its 30th Anniversary.
We are excited to share that this week the work of FWA client Alan de Pellette will once again be gracing our screens, with his latest batch of HOLLYOAKS episodes airing Monday to Wednesday on E4, and available to stream on Channel 4 and YouTube.
This week’s stories are among the show’s most intense and emotional to date. Sienna’s disappearance takes shocking twists as her family wrestles with grief and hidden truths, while her father, Jez, manipulates events to conceal a dark secret. Grace confronts the harrowing reality of past abuse and the complicated arrival of her long-lost son, Rex. The Osborne family faces a desperate search for missing daughter Morgan, leading to a shocking revelation about who is truly behind her disappearance. Elsewhere, tensions rise as Diane grapples with her past with Tony, and unexpected pregnancies bring further drama for Mercedes and Marie.

We are thrilled to once again see the craft and vision that Alan brings to his projects, particularly his work on continuing drama. Alongside his work on HOLLYOAKS, Alan has also directed EASTENDERS for the BBC, including the multi award-winning ‘Loving and Losing Lola’ storyline and the gripping ‘The Six’ Christmas thriller and ITV’s EMMERDALE. His back catalogue includes multi award-winning storylines on coercive control, racist grooming, and conversion therapy and he is currently working on a True Crime Docudrama for television.
Alan’s work consistently balances scale, intensity, and humanity, creating episodes that resonate with audiences while keeping performances at the centre.
