FACE IT – ABBEY, will be screened at the WOF Film Festival special event on Sunday 20 October. It’s a film written and created by Miranda Walker, starring Abigail Cruttenden, and originally streamed on BBC iPlayer during lockdown, as part of Culture in Quarantine (BBC Arts), and The Space.
This event is to coincide with World Menopause Day (18 October 2024) and is an evening of films on education, insights and laughter with animations, dramas, documentaries and comedies from Britain, Trinidad and Tobago and Canada all focused on periods, perimenopause, menopause and beyond, held at The Garden Cinema, London.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion of female filmmakers from the programme, including Miranda Walker.
