With the Olivier Awards just over a week ago, we are proud to celebrate our client Rhiannon Faith, who was nominated for an Olivier Award in 2024 for Outstanding Achievement in Dance, and whose work continues to make a significant impact across theatre, film, television and large-scale events.
Rhiannon is a boundary-breaking artist whose practice crosses disciplines, combining movement, direction and storytelling to create work that is both visually striking and socially engaged. Her versatility has seen her work across a wide range of mediums, from intimate dance theatre to large-scale outdoor productions, as well as choreography and movement direction for screen.
She is the founder of RHIANNON FAITH COMPANY, an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation, where she creates what she describes as radically tender dance theatre. Her work is rooted in themes of community, care and social change, often developed in collaboration with participants and communities to ensure it speaks directly to lived experience.
Her production LAY DOWN YOUR BURDENS, which premiered at the Barbican, was nominated for an Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in Dance, as well as being shortlisted for a One Dance UK Award for Innovation in Dance. Other notable works include DROWNTOWN, a powerful dance theatre piece that has toured nationally and internationally, and THE CARE WE SEE, an intimate performance exploring connection, courage and empathy. Her latest upcoming work is entitled MARY MARY, a wild, tender and physical piece of theatre that explores what a society rooted in radical inclusion would look like.
Rhiannon’s work has been widely recognised across the industry. In addition to her Olivier nomination, she has received multiple nominations at the National Dance Awards, including Best Independent Company, Best Digital Choreography and Best Dance Film, as well as an AWA Women in Dance Leadership Award nomination.
Alongside her company work, Rhiannon has extensive experience as a Movement Director on large-scale outdoor events, and continues to expand her work across film and television, bringing her distinctive physical language to new audiences and formats.
Rhiannon Faith is an exciting and important creative voice, whose work continues to push boundaries while placing human connection and social impact at its core.
